When people are at risk of food borne illnesses, being able to find the source quickly is critical.
Where did these food items come from?

But it also means that the data about the growth, transportation, and handling are available for analysis. Many people are aware of the need to trace food back to its source when an out break of E. coli or Listeria occurs. Without traceability systems in place, more consumers' are at risk for health issues.

Collecting the many types information needed to trace agricultural products and their resultant packaged food is very complex and requires the cooperation of many companies, organizations, and government entities. Even though many agree food traceability is a great idea, getting all the parties on board is cumbersome. Understanding competing interests and conflicting requirements requires large investments in resources, that for some companies can be unaffordable. Fortunately, software helps bring a level of compliance with certain standards and allows for quick adoption of new processes when requirements change.

Traceability is the capability to trace and follow food-producing, foodstuff through all stages of production and distribution. It means that manufacturing of food are required to trace and trace all food product along the food chain, and its directly through the production and packing process, it is directly through market and retailers. Food traceability is the important part of health so it is very important .This is very nice and informative post.

I think that the information about food origin should be available to everybody. I'm sure most of people would never buy certain products if they knew where it came from
